i love my tarwar

Well my Christmas present arrived on Saturday. I got my first HI sword a tarwar. I was extremely excited when I saw the box and couldn't wait to unwrap it. This sword gives me the feeling like I'm ready to fight a battle in the lord of the rings movie. I am shocked at the weight. This thing us massive. There will be no altering direction in mid swing but woe to whatever is in its path upon completion of that swing. The sheath holds the sword snugly and is a pleasing reddish color. I have not taken any measurements of it but off hand the blade appears around 18 inches long with a nice handle that will support a two hand grip. All I can say is thank you Yangdu for providing me with such a wonderful beautiful piece of functional art. This is one that will get handed down to my son. Merrry Christmas everyone play hard with all your new toys and stay safe.
 
Agreed the tarwar is great. I just got mine in today as well. Deff heavier then I would want to carry around for any extended period of time but sure feals like it would cut through just about anything

Those are some lovely tools and the handles are very pretty. Is that the 12" Sirupati from the other day?

The tarwar is on my HI bucket list. Gorgeous orc hunting blade;)

Wife highly encouraged me to stop hanging out with you guys. I think I gave myself away when I gasped when I saw the first Tarwar picture. I'll have to try to control myself a little better. I have to go now but she looks kind of tired so I'll be back for another look shortly.
