We had a great day out, and Hayley had a ball!

Great pics John! I also enjoy old buildings and the such, they definitely don't build them like they used to.

Very nice. History at your finger tips, with a camera of course. :D

Great shots! I'm a lover of old buildings as well, mostly for exploring and such. Being from the Detroit area, and now in Milwaukee, abandoned industrial type buildings are my favorite. My best friend growing up and I spent the majority of our time driving around looking for places to explore, and taking pictures. Some of my photography from those adventures is for sale online.

me to!

cool pictures, john, looks like a great day out.

it's still one of our favorite things to do,

Here's a vintage pic of our new house, built in 1888 (not sure what year the pic is from but it's pretty old considering the lack of other structures). We moved in right around Christmas. It was originally a farm house and what is now the downtown area was part of the farm. The previous owner, who lived there for over 30 years, put a substantial addition on in the mid-90's but the house that is shown is still the front part of the structure. The living room and dining room are both original and the kitchen, family room, bathroom and deck are all part of the renovation.

Great pics! I liked the Odell gas station pic especially.
