Get your mind out of the gutter!
I'm the proud new owner of a 1992 Chevy S10 with only 97425 original miles from the original owner! It has a brand new factory paint job after the old one was recalled from Chevy. It was the older gentlemans truck to take to the river to get away from his old woman. The truck is immaculate.
I was blowing out her sprinklers and she said it didn't run, but that she was needing to sell it because it would sit during winter and her husband would be passing away soon. I went over the next day, checked out the problem, put on a new battery cable and it started up like a dream. I made her an offer of pretty much all the money I have - $1800, but she was really thinking around $2800-$2500. Called her today and asked if I she wouldn't mind holding off putting it in the public listing because I knew it was the perfect car for me while I save up some money (was really just going to sell some knives and watches), and she lowered the price! Also said that I could pay what I can now and the rest in January once I start a new job.
$2000.
During the winter I'll be going there to help her with yardwork and whatnot just to show my appreciation, but....
I'm happier than a pig in sh!t.
