Nothing like a walk in the woods in early Spring. You can still walk freely through the thickets that pop up later in the year. I decide to carry my camera and take a few picks of the local flora :)

Anybody know what any of these are , please pipe in.

I was having a great time till I heard a growl !!

of my stomach :)

Mark, Middle one maybe a creping charlie. Never seen the other two. If you'd like some Oregon State flower's, the wild black berry let me know. Green is in full bloom here.

The stuff behind the creping charlie is...ummmmmmmm...wait a second...I know this one....oh yeh, it's grass!

Spring is nice!

We have these around here in the Ozarks, first one is a May apple, not sure about the second and I'm pretty sure the third is Blood root.

Mark I keep hoping for spring to arrive. Yesterday we had snow and it's below zero again today. This winter just won't quit and I'm getting closet fever already. Please send some warm weather up here. Dave

Thanks Mark for the posting. But here its starting to turn cool again and start snowing sometime this week. 76 one day and the next day its 38. -------------------

It's getting green here also. But!

Snow this weekend:eek: I'm focusing on spring. Come on sunshine:D

I got out and about with the camera when things started getting green too.

You're right, of course, I should have posted that with a warning. I need to watch my post a little closer, for the sake of the younger people that hang out here. :o:foot::(

But thats not you, Bubba, so get off my ass.:jerkit:

Man, I hear ya Mark ! I love spring too..........I just wish it would hurry up and get here. We had our 1st snow of this winter (oct.11) pic is today, the drift in front of my shop is waist deep ! That makes almost 6 straight months of snow on the ground for us here (typical). Diggerdog, you think you've got "closet fever" it was 10* F this morn here with blowing and drifting snow. According to NWS, Lake Superior will have waves in excess of 23' on her for the next couple days !! Someone........Please send Sunshine !! Kerry, nice morel pic !! I love hunting those little buggers, ours won't start for at least another 1-1/2 months though.

I don't really like spring. We pay for our winter and for our summer at this time of the year with the cold wet changeable weather conditions. Plus it's tax time, and daylight savings time came painfully early this year. It snowed yesterday and it is -20 C. In a couple more months the biting insects will be out in full force. Oh yes allergies for some as the pollen in the trees pop forth.

I am more of a fall loving person, walks in the bush and shooting something for the dinner plate. Summer and winter are decent too. On the upside for spring though, I get plenty of work done in the shop, and the folks who do have a tax refund sometimes make that special purchase for that knife they want.

David I really do know how you feel about this weather. If we ever get any sunshine at all I will gladly send some over your way. Hang in there. Dave
