...and the UPS guy and even my mailperson. Anyone who comes bearing gifts is seen as a long lost friend in my book.
Anyways, I was gone for a few days getting my daughter, Brooke, set up at school in Central Florida (its mind numbing to think I "just" brought her home from the hospital 18 years ago) and returned to find some parcels waiting for me at work.
I received a couple from Peter (AV8R) here on BF. The Knight fighter and Denning hunter have found new homes. Both of these guys do incredible work. I also picked up a couple of pieces that Matt Lamey had for sale - 7.5" and 11" fighters. Going to have some sheaths made and send these off family members in the service. **Remember these men and women and their families daily in prayers and thoughts. We enjoy the freedoms we do because of them**
The creme de la creme has to be the bowie I got from Craig Camerer. It sports a 10.5" blade with a great hardening line, stainless fittings, and a stag handle. I just can't say enough about Craig's work. I met him in Atlanta this year and bought a couple of pieces then and ordered this piece thru Les. This guy is going to make an awesome MS, hell you can see from other posts he's basically doing MS quality work now. I'll try to post some pictures tonight when I get home from work.
