When I first got it, I was deep in love. Then, the Dark Times. Somebody suggested it might be a fake, and I went through the fiasco of sending it in for verification. It's real, and it took a month for us to be reunited, LOL. The people at Spyderco are very nice. Anyway, here is the knife in question, best $80 I ever spent! Been in my pocket every day. Who else is a big time Millie lover?

I really enjoy mine. Fantastic knife. Unfortunately it doesn't get as much pocket time as it deserves because I'm a lefty and didn't bother holding out for a left-handed Millie. Need to find me one soon though, but money's tight. Certainly a great knife and very deserving of the reputation it has!

Saw your post in the EDC thread and wondered, then I stumbled here. Glad it's home safe and legit!

I've been wanting to try a Millie out for a while now. I'm fairly sure I would like it but I'm afraid that the tip down would throw me out of whack. Tip down does lend itself well to larger knives, its just that one hurdle that keeps me from jumping.

Honestly, I remember being one of the people who said it might be fake:D Actually, I think I might have been the first one:rolleyes: looks like I should bite my tongue now:p

I'm glad that it turned out to be a legit Millie!

I myself am a manix lover, the design is perfect for my needs, especially the new cruwear model. However I've had my eyes on a PM for a while now, as the Millie is a little too long for my needs; now if they made a cruwear PM:eek:

Nonetheless, great pickup! Keep them spydies comming!!!

Tip down isn't all that bad unless it's a flipper. Tip down flippers tend to open in my pocket.

I've had a lot of Millies in the past. That is one fine knife.
Happy for you.

Tip down is fine on this one! It won't open very easily in the pocket. I'll post a video to my Instagram for you, @knifehobby

True, it does work well. This is just a personal problem. It can screw with my muscle memory. Don't want to grab a waved knife like it was tip down.

Yea I know what you mean, when I bought a tip down lionsteel, I kept pulling it out like it was tip up and I always had to remind myself :D

Just checked it out, thanks! You also took my instagram cherry.;)
Maximus is one cool pooch!

The military is a favorite of mine, it's hard to beat for a all around knife.

IMO, the Military and Police are the 2 best spydercos ever.

I really like that orange G10, nice change of pace from the almost ubiquitous black.

Why can't they drill 3 little holes extra and let the user decide tip up or down? Personally, I won't buy a tip down only knife.

I've always wanted a Police, but with the blade being over 4" and therefore illegal by me, it would probably collect dust. :(

Maybe one day I'll track down the smaller brother, the Rookie!

Knock a little off the end and make it 3 15/16". :)

I like the blade shape, if you ever need to use it the length is good for organ damage and blade shape is good for retraction...nothing worse than getting hung up on a rib. :)

Congrats buddy!
I almost bought one if these when I was buying my 0200 but decided against. Not sure why. I still want one.

Nice knife. I've been digging my new pm2, but I have my eye on the millie. I know this, my next folder will be at least 4 inches. How does that ginormous thing do in the pocket? I feel it would be quite awkward having to dig around it in my pocket.
