Love it here, Great Blades, Good info, Low Ego Levels, All Good.

But then I go out and use my Beckers and today I have a "Melt Down" and decide I like them so much I ordered a Necker, BK-2 and a BK-77, Micarta slabs for the BK-2 and two sheaths from Harry. There goes this weeks check.

I love These Blades. I Hate These Blades!!!
 
Hey money bags, throw some of that this way...lol I could always use a new knife

Yeah, this is a great place. I just hope it doesn't cause you to "Melt Down" too often.
 
Bit of advice given me by a man I admire that has 20 years of wisdom on me. I have four gorgeous, fairly rare PUMAs I was going to sell. I don't really need the money. He told me, "It's only money, and when will you EVER find them again?" Good advice.

You like it, you want it, there's still enough $$$ to pay the rent and feed the wife (the kids can go 1 week easy), buy away and enjoy!
 
you'll love the bk-2! i like skinny women (well, not kate moss skinny!) but the bk-2's thickness is just damn sexy. the way the spine & tip curves ever so slightly downward to produce that rounded, full belly...mmm...mmm. i have yet to see any competitor's 1/4" thick blade that can even come close to it's sexiness.

i still remember the day i opened the box one saturday morning in mid-march...it was a brisk 50 deg f, clear blue skies, 10 am, and the mailman dropped off the package just before i left to go hiking. the mailman rarely delivers the mail before 3 pm but this time he was early...just in time. it seemed like it was part of a grand scheme of things. i opened the box while the engine was running and there it was...the bk-2. it was love at first sight...and the first kiss, i mean baton later that day...i think i'm still talking about a knife here :eek:

That's quite a memory you have there!

All I remember is thinking, "Holy crap! This thing is a beast!" Or, something to that effect...
