Just wanted to say what a great site this is!I have been "collecting" knives since I was a kid(I'm 45 now)and I have learned more in the last few days than I have almost all the time previous to now.I'll be doing alot more learning than replying cuz of all the great info here.Also after I pay for Christmas(prolly some time in June :) )I'll be upgrading to a paying membership.Thanks to everyone for all the great info!

2 hrs. ago I found out about the "Damascusknifestore.com" were I can get work of art folder for $100-140 that has hardwood handles Damascus blades ~ 3 in. and look to me like the $500+ knives on other sites . This $10 membership just saved me several hundred $$$$ yea
 
Yes this is a good place, as most members here have one thing in common- an interest in knives. Enjoy your stay here.

Welcome. Hope you enjoy your experiences here. And also gain much from the experience of others. There are a few nutjobs now and then but a bunch of great people here. This is my second year as a paid member and it is definitely worth the small fee. -DT
