I love titanium. And with the shortage, I am afraid that I will see less and less knives made with this material at a reasonable price.
I made a list of titanium frame-lock knives before. Not very many are made, so my selection is very narrow.
I was browsing on the "bay" with my search being "titanium knife". Many divers knives and S&W titanium coated knives shows up. But a knife caught my eye. It was the SOG Vision in titanium. Sweet knife with great reviews by our forum members. It is a titanium jewel that I had no idea exists.

So my question is, what other knives are made with titanium? Scales, frame-locks, whatever. Anything anyone can share. I just don't want anything slipping under my radar.

Mission knives makes some killer Ti knives.
S&W's Ti knives are titanium oxide coatings.
Doug :)

CRK Sebenza, CRK Mnandi,Combat Elite RRF, DDR make some awesome Titanium framed knives, Tom Mayo's knives, Buck/Mayo TNT, Strider knives have G-10 on one side, and Titanium on the other, R. Hindrerer........ i think that is enough out of me for now. I too LOVE titanium!!

Benchmade Skirmish and Mini-Skirmish. These are probably the biggest users of titanium in the production market today if I had to guess.

Don't forget about my personal favorite, the Bump.

The mini skirmish is a close followup though.

I also really like DDR customs.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the 41MC, one of my favorite titanium knives.

And my old Buck 560C is a tough knife.

Korth makes nice Ti framelocks. Brian Tighe makes some really beautiful ones.

Also, Spyderco made an ATR model with Ti handles where the compression lock was part of the handle.

Now I know why there is a shortage of one of the most abundant elements on earth !! Spyderco Salsa is a titanium handled model.

I just got the SOG vision with the arc lock off e-bay - this is one sweet knife!
E-bay had best price I could find for now.

Yes, it is nice, it's probably the nicest folder SOG has made.

Good one!

I just won a Sog Vision. SS liners with titanium scales and an ARC lock. Sweet!!! Getting it waved also!

Abundance of an element in the earth does not equate to readily available material.

Titanium is very expensive to refine and produce. The chemicals involved with refining titanium eat away at the refinery machinery. The refineries gradually dissolve!

Someday someone will discover a less expensive way to refine titanium and we will be able to get all we want.

deathshead,

Are you listing factory knives only?

I got to get one of those Ti Leathermans. Very convenient. Now has Ti handles and a blades with real steel. 154CM!

Deathshead,

I have had the Leatherman Charge Ti for about 6 months now and love it. I carry it every day. The 154cm blade is a real improvement over the past wave model.
