ahhh, I remember the ol' days when I used to split wood with my hatchet because I had no knife that could handle the job. My BK-09 splits completely frozen wood that's been in the snow for a few days without any issues. Well, the only issue was that I ran out of wood!

NICE!!

Oh, and for those that question the grip of grivory...
I was splitting this wood in cold and wet snow (about 25 degrees outside) and had no issues with the grip even after my fingers lost a bit of dexterity. I was not wearing gloves for this small project to test it out.

Hey Bush-Haus......

I have told this little tale before......Will Fennell and Anthony Lombardo, during the Camillus era, when they were young slim and adventurous, took a Becker and dipped the grips in automatic transmission (hydraulic ) fluid and repeatedly stabbed a poor unsuspecting tree WITHOUT gloves and without injury.....DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME or away......I personally am a huge believer in my handles and I thought they were crazy then and time has not changed my outlook....I never did ask if alcohol was involved.......I always try to have gloves with me and I use them.......

Anywho---I am glad your Nine is working hard for you...I am sad you ran out of wood.....

All Best......

I was sad I ran out of wood, but none more than my knife! It was hungry!
