Nothing like visiting my buddies in the Laurentian mountains . I worked on my bow a bit . Almost finished up my Wooden Seax so I can begin experimenting with it .
(Any guinea pigs ,...oops I mean lab assistants would be appreciated . )
We went to a traditional archery tournament on Saturday . My budies and I decided not to count our points and do the tournament"au plaisance" . Had a homemade sandwhich that would have fed a small family and even showed a nubile newbie how to shoot and she won in her division !
I got to joke with a bunch of friendly rascals who would jokingly tie your underwear into knots(while you are wearing them)and then invite you over to their house for a bottle of mead to discuss the experience ! L:O:L
Nice roast beast supper with a passable bottle of wine and worked on a string for a bow I gave my buddy ., I even had a healer friend of mine listen to me about my digestion problems and he immediately said it could be due to vertebrae being out of alignment . I told him I have several herniated disks and that the digestion problem appeared soon after my accident . This guy manipulated my arms and shoulders , positioned me and hoisted me into the air (253 pounds) . No big crick/crack like a chiro would give you just an easing of tension . He told me this would release tension in my back and chest and if I followed his exercise routine I should feel even more relief .
Aside from that I didn,t do much this weekend !

Sounds like a great weekend. You did more than I did anyway. I wish I could see your guy about my back.

Gambier island ? Unfortunately never even heard of it . As for my healer buddy ? There has to be more to his diagnosis than the simple words that pass between us . I think he is a very observant man that notices more about what goes on around him on a different level than other people . He is an alert on the ball kinda guy .
