I will be offering these for Government Model size 1911`s

If your firearm is a standard, Government size model with single safety, all I would need is your choice of grip material.
If you have double safeties I would need you to send me your grips ( I would have them about 1 week).

Order by email, if I do need your grips do not send them untill I tell you to.

Sweet John! I'll be in contact with you sometime today to order at least a set of orange grips, might do one other as well. I just bought a Springfield 1911 Loaded and it has some nice rosewood grips but I was thinking of picking up some extras, you've read my mind!

I had a stainless Springfield Loaded, great gun, but when I downsized my collection it went. I kept the Kimber because it was an anniversary gift from my wife years ago, around 1996 I think.

Will it be difficult to add a groove for an ambi safety? If not, I will need some of these in OD.

oh boy............. Just when I thought I finally found grips I like for my .45..... :)

Those look great! Will the micarta be able to be shaped enough to see all the grain like on your knife scales?

Sure will, I`m starting with 1/4" thick scales, and sanding them down so the grain shows.

Don`t know for sure. I don`t have anything to try it on. Maybe if you or SWMBO could send me the grip panel?

I'll see what I can do. Those look great on yours by the way.

That's pretty cool! Too bad I don't have/like 1911's--if you could make grips for my CZ-82 that would be awesome, but CZ-82's are really hard to make grips for :P. In any case, though, I think my cousin still plans on getting a 1911 someday in the near future and I'll be sure to tell him about these

I'll be needing a pair in black canvas micarta for my Springfield Mil Spec.

Jeff

I shall have to get a pair of those for my Kimber LME II. Just gotta decide which color & material!

I`m going to make the same for my Kimber. I did not even make it back into the house after taking pictures with my ghost green ones. My neighbor saw them and bought them for his .45!

Great advertising there!

If you don't need my grips, you can make my set anytime.

I would not need your grips. I`m going to wait a little to see if I get anymore orders for these or knives, so I can order materials at the same time.
