A friend of mine and fellow knife lover wanted to trade me out of my Buck Omni hunter 12pt folder. He had a stroke last year and can only use his left arm now. So he is big into large folders that can be opened with one hand. I showed it to him and he loved it. He asked if I like mulit tools and I said " heck yeah"! So he gave me a Leatherman Wave (Old style) for my Buck. The old style wave is in new condition and is in perfect shape. I love it. The only thing I wish it had was a larger size phillips driver, but the scissors is perfect. It seems a little lighter than the new wave also. I am glad I made this trade. He also traded me a U.S.A made Gerber gator from around the early to mid nineties that was in new condition for a Spyderco Tenacious that I had. I didn't like the Tenacious anyway. I actually love the Gerber Gator, its the first time I ever owned one. I just wanted to share my good news with yall on the Old Style Wave.
