With a piece like that, you probably need your own forum. That is breathtaking
Really beautiful. Thanks for showing that

Off the charts beautiful:thumbup: The best of both worlds for me since i'm a gun and knife nut:D

Bruce,

Your work allways inspires me, thanks for sharing!

Ken

Bruce, we'll give you "traditional" dispensation for work of that magnitude. Feel free to share with us when you're so inclined.

Beautiful!

WOW!, its not every day that you get to see someones vision emerge into reality....well to the Nth degree anyway:thumbup:

Bruce, your work doesn't fit anywhere--it is that unique. What a beautiful piece.

However, if you would just make a "regular" slipjoint---it'll fit very nicely in my pocket.

Heck, you keep that up, you may warrant having your own forum. VERY nice.

What's the finish on the non-knife parts? I'll wager a guess and say 'french grey', maybe? Very nicely done.

thx - cpr

Yeah Bruce, that just doesn't fit here...:D
Pack it up & send it to Camp Bop;)
It'll be loved & pampered!

Thanks you guys.
I am working on a slippie that will fit into a pants pocket. I have the prototype almost finished. I cant believe how hard they are to make and work right. I'm having trouble milling the liners actually. This one has a set of bronze washers. Is that cheating?

Hi,

Now that is Art as it was done 200 years ago by the finest Craftsmen the Old World could muster.

You have a talent that many wish for and very few have!

I love how you made the barrel - it looks just like some of the old naval cannons. Pretty cool piece of work!

Looks like it has plenty of traditional elements to me.

"Incredible" does not do it justice and I can not come up with a word that will do so.

Have not forgotten my promise Bruce.

Gus

Awww SHOOT, Bruce...that beauty is a CUT above the rest! :) The engraving on that piece makes it POP! KnifeHead LIKEY!

That is gorgeous and pretty freaking cool. Reminds me of the Kabar pistol bayonet that was shown at SHOT this year. I like yours much better (love how damascus looks)
