At least I guess thats what you would call this. The blade is bit under 9 inches. Convex ground 1080. Fully hardened, instead of differentialy. The tsuba is mild steel, blackened with vinegar, and some bees wax to darken it some more and prevent rust (surface imperfections it are just wax). Handle is maple coated with clear polyeurethane, with two loose hidden pins, and wrapped in core-less paracord.
Critique welcome. After staring at it for hours working on it I know all of the flaws intimately lol, but its always nice to know what jumps out to other people. I am still working on it a little, using vinegar swabs to blacken that steel showing on the bottom of the handle. I expected it to be covered after I wrapped it but It didn't come out that way.
