I made a terrible mistake

While waiting for my wood inlay and my CGG Trailing moon, I decided that my small plain needed a polished hollow grind. Also the curved part of the blade was not as sharp as I like it. Now all I have is my NICA tanto but no small Sebenzas. I should have waited until at least one of the new ones arrived. Now I'm going through the Sebenza DT's. I get anxious and I feel empty inside. To ease the pain I bought a Left hand Random Task (actually a very nice knife), an Osborne Benchmade 940 with the Axis lock and a Tom Mayo left hand small TNT (Talonite and Titanium). This knife is similar to the Sebenza. I called Mayo and he said he is getting ready to make a small left hand for his friend and that it would be almost as easy to make two as to make one. This cut the lead time from 8 months to two weeks so I couldn't pass that one up. But guess what? It doesn't help, I'm irrational! I hope I get my small plain back soon. So you guys don't make this mistake, NEVER send away your baby without a backup to hold you through!

Scott Dog,

I don't want to add fuel to your already scortching fire. But I just opened my front door to find my new classic 2000 sebenza! How cool is this thing!!

Man, I can't believe I'm holding my third sebbie. A few months ago I retired my small decorated one for my new 2000 wood inlay. Boy, talk about having patience. I couldn't wait to get that one. It came...then went; right into my wifes pocket. That's OK though, now that I got my classic, I've calmed down. But while waiting for my classic I started thinking of getting a milled design put on the classic. Oh so many options. I also wondered if my new knife would have one of the new pocket clips. As I couldn't stand it now longer, I called Bridget. She said that they just started putting the newer clips on about a month ago and doubted that mine would have one. Well, to my surprise it DOES!

How neat. So anyhow, Bridget informed me that the turn around time would be from 2 to 4 weeks to have Scott mill a decoration in the classic. I'm just not ready to part with it yet. But I do know the anxiety you feel waiting! Maybe in a few weeks when the new feeling wares out and I can steal my wood inlay back, I'll send the classic in for a new paint job. In the mean time...Take it slow Scott Dog, before you know it, your sebbie will be there and you will be pondering your next one.

One of the reasons that I have a stable of Sebenzas is so that people don't have to send them to me for sheath fit up, makes it easier on both of us, one I don't have to worry about someone eles's knife and two they don't have to worry and have the separation anxiety attacks...plus I get to rationalize why I need those knives! a big reason
