Well...A bail at least.
My lovely lady asked if I had a knife for her a few days ago ...seeing as its St Valentines day coming up I decided to make her dreams come true(obviously there will be the traditional wine and roses as well)...She likes black and silver so here we go...I dug this old Craftsman beauty out but it has always irritated me with its missing bail.
Until Now!
I foolishly attempted to source pinstock from the large hardware chainstore..but they didnt know what I was talking about nor did they have any. This put my plan on the back burner thinking I would need to go to a more specialist knife making supplier on the web . Later on I found this bulldog style paper clip...I'll give it a go and voila ! A perfectly serviceable and secure bail...It may never get used but it completes the look of the knife better than the empty sockets.
