I pulled in the driveway last night about 6 pm:D
Donna jumped in my lap in the car and the three of them didn't let me on the computer to let you guys know I made it home.I drove straight through from Bob's place in Phoenia to home with just a quick 2 1/2 hour nap in a roadside stop.Boy was it a long day.The car did great but started acting up again about 45 minutes from home.I drove it in and said I would get it fixed today because I wanted to get home.
The sunshine threw the desert can spoil a man,the desert is so nice this time of year.
I had a fun trip back visiting with everyone.I want to thank Steve and Bob for there wonderful hospitality,by letting me into there homes and giving me a place to sleep, and the great conversations.
Also Ray for all the help and fun conversations he gave me.I will cherish all the friendships I have been given forever.Knifemakers are a rair breed,we seem to all help each other out when ever we can.I know I can never repay everyone for there kindness,so all I can say is THANKS.
The Salem show was great and I got to meet a bunch of people there also.Meet a collecter there from London and he wants me to start reproducing his collection of original old Bowies, and at a high price (finally,I might get out of the hole )I have to call him and get things started.Boy did this make the trip worth while even with all the other bad luck and missing my ladies.Even meet a guy there that had bought one of my Dragon Slayers from Charlie,That was cool.Sorry I don't remember all the names as my head has been crazy for the last 3 weeks. Now I have to set down and get everything straightened out and figure out how I am going to get the stuff Donna and me had from Dad's back home.Mike (my cousin) said that he will ship what we want him to.Now just to get some money ahead to pay for the shipping.Gonna take today and get the car straightened out then tomorrow get back to the shop...
I will post my few pictures when i get them developed and scanned.

Never doubted you'd make it through in one piece - welcome home! Sounds like you are going to be busy!

Bruce; It was good to hear you made it home ok. I was wondering if you would have any more car trouble.Mabe now you can get back to a normal life with your three ladies. let me know what you want first out of the truck..later cuz Mike

Glad to hear you made it home in one piece, Bro!! Stacie gave me the message (today!)...

Funny thing was...when you rolled through, I was actually up (rough night, don't'cha know!)... :p

Hey, well, maybe you can swing by next time (assuming that the situation is more relaxed, next time!!), and we can hang out, and I can show ya 'round!

Again, congrats on everything! I'd be more jealous than am I, but first I'd have to have 1/10th the ability!!

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes from everybody.I needed all them as this was a very crazy 3 weeks out of my life.
The Salem show made it all worth while though.I did contact David in London yesterday and we are starting to get that ball rolling.Bad thing is that I will be delivering the first knives in Atlanta in June.Needless to say I still got to get something moving now to get everything caught up.But such is life and I will overcome it like always.
I did get the car fixed yesterday,it was the alternater,it had a swith in it that had went out.Now get this.here is the difference between my little southern town and these big cities.I went to my Auto Zone here in town. They took my battery off and put it on the charger and took another battery off the shelf to start the car and check it out, then I pulled the alternater so they could check it,the thing is that I had took the tools out of the car and had npne with me so they loaned me what I needed to dp the job and even helped me.the alternater checked bad so they handed me a new one and said to get it put on.As I was doing this the clerk brought out my battery and installed it for me.when I got the alternater on and everything tightened up they checked the system to make sure all was well. Then they had me bring in the tools and after all this they finally figured up my bill. Now they had come out and helped me get the alternater off also as I wasn't sure of the newer cars. When all was said and done I only had to pay for the alternater,no costs for help or charge of battery or anything like that.Boy am I glad to be back home were a neighbor will help out a stranger needing help and not want a profit out of it.They couldn't believe the way the one place charged me for the jump start either. But now Donna is driving her car, made the trip worth it to see her head to work in it this morning.

Now to get things back to normal around here and figure out how to get the stuff I was bringing back here for Donna shipped back.We are trying to find a truck driver that might have some room to add it to a load were we can meet him close to the house and get it,or I will get it shipped somehow so Donna can have the family treasures she wants.

Again thanks to all for there kindness towards me and my family during all this.
Bruce

You are more than welcome anytime you pass this way again. Really enjoyed the visit and the chance to meet you in person. Now I have an excuse to come see your shop some day.
Good on you for getting discovered...things will work out in a good way I'm sure.
