I bought 5 knives yesterday from an on-line site that was having a knife sale.

I can't see spending the money on a CRK or anything near that expensive, but for $125 shipped I'm getting:
CRKT Onion Shenanigan PPS Knife
CRKT Onion Ripple Titanium Nitride
SOG Knives Blink Knife Satin Finish
SOG Knives Magnadot Knife Satin, 1/2 Serrated (X2)

The wife is gonna kill me if she finds them!
 
I did the same thing at the Indy 1500 Gun and Knife show. Haha, SOG fast hawk, CRKT M16 in regular and spear point... Start a club? :confused:

My pockets are not that deep. I've only seen pix of them so I'll stick to my much cheaper purchases!!

Last month I picked up a Sog Seal Pup Elite and a SAK Companion.

I need to stay away from forums... I get into trouble when I'm on. First it was Hockey card collecting, then BMX bikes, now knives and BMX.
 
This month, I've bought a SOG Pentagon Elite 1 ($86 on amazon), a cold steel recon 1 4" at my lgs for $65, a 9/11 Commemorative KA-Bar for $70, a Benchmade 530 for $95, and a Benchmade 162 for $150. Thankfully I'm not married.

For $125 you got a good deal on those knives.
 
you can get a few great knives for the price of a higher end knife. I, personally, wouldn't [ab]use a strider but I would on a Kershaw for example.

This is how I feel. I think I'd be too afraid to lose a CRK, but a CRKT... lets see what it can do!
 
My wife get her Vouis Louitton's and Booney & Dourke purses, but then she has a hissy fit when I buy another knife. My knives only cost a fourth of what she spends on a purse... of course I do have over 30 knives to her four or five purses :D

Your 2nd to last sentence makes me wonder if you were previously married!

The magnadots were only $14. That is the kind of $$ I can shell out for gifts!

Luckily my wife is happy w/Coach bags from the Coach Outlet.
 
My gf and i have estimated that she has over 2k in makeup.

Therefore, after my 1k knife collection and 1500 split between two watches, we're even.

;)
 
Well you better start getting a little bit of overtime here and there so when she does find out you can say you already have it covered. Pray things will go right, but prepare for the worst.

Honestly, I'm not worried about it. but I do appreciate the sentiment!!
 
I know the pros out way the cons (I hope so anyways), but man am I glad I don't have anyone getting pissed at me when I buy a new knife :)
 
Yeah I get my knives shipped to my brother's house now to avoid the drama. I've bought about ten knives in the last month. It's like Christmas when that box arrives in he mail!
