Yep, put together another Jersey pattern. Put a satin finish on this one.

Did all the work at Adventure Sworn Knives shop, I forgot the camera, so no making of pics.

It is not sanded out yet, but I like the different shades in the grain on this one. Should be interesting.

I got a real tight fit on this wedge,

A few stress fractures, but it doesn't mean anything.

those are some beautiful axes skog...

nice work!

who makes the 'N' axe, the first one? id like to get my hands on one of those beauties...!

Those are sweet...I would love to get one like that first one.
What do you put on them to prevent rust?

That's some inspiring work Skog, thanks for posting. I like the finish on the dark one. Can you explain how you did that?

Most of it is natural patina. Most old heads get like this. After grinding out the edge. I use a little gun blue to clean it up.

Skog, Those are some very nice looking axes. :) Any idea what the weight of those heads are?

I know this is an older thread, but I just picked up one of these "circle N" jersey pattern axe heads off ebay and I was wondering if you ever found out who the manufacturer is? I still want an old Kelly perfect jersey, but I'm going to have to be more patient for that one.

Skog, I like Jerseys and really admire yours...SO SWEEEET!!. I have a few to helve and you are an inspiration.
