When I become interested in something, I tend to go overboard. I have many interests, but seem to focus on one or two at a time. I suppose it's a sign of a crazy person, but there is nothing I can do about it now.
Within the past month or so, I have been on an auction site, seeing what catches my eye. Bad move. I wound up winning " a few" knives. Some better than others, but all caught my eye in some form or fashion. They all need to be cleaned, but I wanted to get pics up while I was in the mood.
Here is a group photo.
Starting with the smallest, here is a Case Small Stockman. This thing is small! Scales are a dark green, but look almost black until they are seen in bright light. The pen blade tends to want to close behind the sheepsfoot blade.
Next is a Peanut that just calls to me. Not sure why, but it seems to want to be in my pocket. It's a Craftsman branded knife, but I'm not sure of the manufacturer. Schrade, maybe? It's nearly the same size as a Case Peanut, but the blade is bigger.
Here it is with my Yeller 'nut.
Next up is a pair of Smooth Rose Bone Cases. I got the Peanut by a pleasant accident. The seller had it marked as a Peanut, but with a pic of the Jack. I didn't pay attention to the model # she had posted, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it. There is quite a bit of difference in the scales on the Peanut, but it doesn't bother me. It is my 2nd Case Peanut, but surely not the last. She had the Jack in a seperate auction, so I was determined to own it, too. I did pretty well for the both of them. Both are the same year.
Next is another knife that calls to me. It is like a long lost friend. I can't explain it.
It's a Western. They call it a Whittler, but it looks like a stockman pattern in blade position, with whittler blades. 2 springs, with the main blade and spring twice as thick as the smaller blades and spring.

Next up are some Imperials. There is a Diamond Edge Camper, a Diamond Edge Barlow, and 2 regular Barlows. The 2 regular Barlows I couldn't pass up, as they were practically given away.
Here are a couple Old Timer 89OT's. I like them because I haven't seen many. I like the Old Timers, as i can usually get them very sharp.
Last, but not least, is this Schrade 294 Trapper. I don't know the age on this, can anyone help?
There, I think that's all. Like I said, I still need to clean them up, and sharpen them. I did sharpen the little Craftsman Peanut, and that thing is like a scalpel. If anyone has any info they care to share about anything here, feel free. They are nothing spectacular, but they are a bit of glitter that caught this crow's eye.
