110's are nothing new to me, just never really got into them. I've had quite a few over the years, they've always been the first on the chopping block when it came to swaps or sales, or give-aways even. Till now.
It all started with a Ted Ott bowie I got from stabber. Nice knife, really nice sheath.
I have friend with a shop that deals in all sorts of outdoor gear, including knives. Been helping him out for 25 years, recently stopped going in as often (life changes, ya know?), still drop by every so often. Times being kinda hard for everyone, I like to spend a little in the shop to give him some cash. He recently made me a deal for some NOS Kershaws he had sitting around, 3 Packrats and a Zing in Orange. Not really my type, but I figured they would make good trade fodder for the forum. Enter stabber. He had some really nicely made folder sheaths for 110's, traded for a couple of them.
So what's a guy with a couple of empty folder sheaths gonna do? Right!, you fill them!
Oddly enough, the rattlesnake linings sort of color coordinate with the 110's I picked up to fill them with.
First up; a 1990 Brown Jigged Bone Damascus with Nickel Silver frame. As you may notice, I like users, this one's in pretty good shape, edge needs a little more work.
Then I found this 1991 White Smooth Bone with a Nickel Silver frame. Not sure if the scales are original, but they fit and feel nice, and it's sharp and pointy.
So now I have a couple of decent 110's that I'll probably be hanging on to this time, and a good reason to swing by the Buck forum every so often (not that a reason is really needed)
Thanks for looking, see you around!
