I met a girl from Borghorka this week...

She was my nurse at the hospital. Her name was shree ju. It reminded me of Manjushree, so I started asking her about herself. She was amazed I had known the word Manjushree, and then she told me she was from the same town as Birghorka. (I am not sure that is 100%)
But if there is anybody back in Nepal who sent their lovely daughter Shree Ju to Texas to be a nurse: She is doing well at MY hospital.

Would I be correct to say that translates to Ju X 3? My Nepalese is limited, but seem to recall shree means three. Interesting none the less. Good to hear from you Danny. I assume your treatment is going well and hope that continues. This thread shows the virulent properties of HIKV. Even in a hospital bed, you're thinking of khuks. Take care amigo.

Hey Danny - hope you're continuing to improve. Funny that you ran into a girl from the same town that Birgorkha is in.

jdk1 - "Shree" has a number of meanings---the one which is relevant here (in a person's name) is probably the "goddess of fortune" one. (Just like you get girls named "Lakshmi", another goddess name). In the khukuri inscriptions we had "shree tin..." which was something like "honoured x3..." - which is where you're remembering the "x3" from.

topgun0728 - hopefully Danny won't wake up in the middle of a knight - that would be rather disconcerting!
