Went to Blade Show today, I met Chris Reeve and got to chat with him for about 20 minutes. He was super nice, and very down to earth, and it was great picking his brain a little. He said if I'm ever in Boise, drop by and he would give me a tour of the factory. That would be awesom!

Anyway, just thought I would let you all know that he seems like a genuine nice guy, and it was a pleasure getting to meet him.:)

That is cool! I don't see getting to go to blade in my near future becasue it always falls during my busy time of year but I still want to eventually get to Idaho for a tour!!

Yea, fortunately I live 2 hours from Atlanta, so I've gone on Saturday the last 3 years. Get to meet some cool people.

An Idaho tour would be cool.

I talked with him today as well. Very interesting guy. Blade Show was awesome today. Going to try and go early tomorrow too.

Chris wasn't at the booth when I was there but I met Anne and Tim and talked with each for a good while. Great folks putting out great products. It was a great experience.

His respknse when I told him today that it is good to see someone with a passion for excellence told me that he is down to earth. Almost a bit embarrassed by the compliment.

My experience as well. when I complimented him, he seemed humbled, and thanked me. Seemed like a genuinely likable guy.

The quality of product as well as design and style along with their unparalleled customer service deserve our respect. On the other hand the service they provide and the fact that they include tools for taking apart the knife shows their trust and respect for us, their customers. It'a nice to be a small part of that as a CRK knife owner.

I completely agree!

been a business owner in a service industry makes me appreciate been well taken care of because i understand (not that other don't) how hard it can be to go that extra mile to please customers.
great job CRK.

That is cool. Blade is neat that way; you get to meet the people that make the knives happen.

I was there on Saturday night, talking to Mr. Craig Green, Director of Manufacturing and Engineering at Kai USA, and Mr. Reeve walked up to congratulate Craig on the AKOTY award that Zero Tolerance had one for the ZT0999.

I noticed that Mr. Reeve's drink was empty, so I offered him a drink and he happily accepted. We stood and shot the breeze for a few minutes, it was a very pleasant chat.

Mr Green is also a very down to earth fellow, and an interesting man with a lot of knowledge.

I met him a couple years ago at Blade. He was as down to earth and nice as could be. I showed him an old UG that I have from back when he was still doing the graphics, and he told me he remembered grinding the damascus on that one, too. I asked it I could take a pic of him holding it, and he kindly obliged.

Anyone knows what happened to his finger? Knife making accident?
