Looks like I may be having emergency spine surgery, I was planning on surgery anyway pretty soon for some serious spine damage I have had for a long time, but something went VERY wrong in my spine a few days ago, and it has snowballed from there, so, even though I'm not prepared, the surgery will likely be sooner than expected, in fact, could be as soon as tomorrow, or, it could still be a week or more until the actual surgery, so, depending on exactly what they do, and how long my recovery and rehab time is, which could be as long as 6 weeks in bed, I may be unreachable for a while, and I may, or may not be able to get online, only time will tell, so, if for some reason you can't get a hold of me and need to, please don't be offended, or think I'm flaking out, I'll get back with you as soon as I'm able. As of now, I am about 99% unable to move, nor stand or walk and am on major pain killers, so, please bear with me, and I'll see you all soon, hopefully with a new back, and I can finally lead a more normal life, one where I can walk and stand, and exist without the horrible pain. This is no way to live.

Wish me luck. :)

Ari

Good luck with it Meg. I've been through the major surgery bit so I know where you're coming from. It's a bugger but you'll be glad you did it afterwards.

See you back here soon.

Thanks, oh, BTW, while I'm gone, don't let Brownshoe get away with anything in the Sebenza Review thread... :)

I'll wish you luck and hope and throw in a prayer.

I am real unhappy to hear you're in pain. I hope your recovery is as complete as fast as possible. Major surgery is no fun, but getting better sure is! :)

Brownshoe is toast. :grumpy:

Good luck Ari! After having had 3 back surgeries with fusions I know what you're going through!

Praying for your rapid recovery, Ari. Stay strong. We are rooting for you. :)

Good luck, may everything go as smooth as possible. Heal quick and get back here as soon as you can.

Ari,
Let us know if there is something we can help you or your family with. In the meantime I hope for a full recovery and will keep you in my prayers.

Like Mark I know what back pain is all about. :(

Enjoy the morphine they'll give you... it will be the closest to heaven on earth that you'll get... (not including a weekend in the Bahamas with Sylvia Saint)

Also, make arrangements so that you'll be comfortable during the cold sweats that come afterwards.

I wish you the best...
