Hello guys,

As much as I post my words here, you guys should know how much passion I hv for Busse.

This week I brought my full Busse collection to Bill M. a friend/dealer to see. Not sure how many ppl knows Bill. He is the ONLY survive knive dealer in NYC, got his store featured in Tactical Knives magazine this month. Unlike Paragon Sports, his store is full of beautiful knives and allow you to touch them freely or ask questions.

Bill saw Busse in detail and certainly love and impressed Busse's design & "perfect grind". As many as you know, I collect my Busse not use them, I certainly can't tell what grind is consider bad or perfect. He stated Busse grind is truely top notch and right the way he contact Kendra for farther information.

"I finally understand what the Busse talk is all about!"- Bill M.

Bill really wants to carry Busse line in NYC. I hope he and Jerry can really work something great. If things goes well, we might able to bring Busse or Jerry back to NYC.

Next time, knife collector, Busse lover, who comes to NYC sure got Bill's store to enjoy your afternoon amoung with lovely blades. Trying to bring my favorit knife friend & favorit knife maker togather for everyone who enjoy knives. I feel that I hv done a good thing. Can't be more happier.

Bill's store & weblink is here: http://www.beautifulblades.com/

You hv got one more reason to come visit New York City.

Your a good man Wu. Don't think I'll ever make it to NYC to see his store but good of you to spread the word.

Trying to help everyone who work hard for their lives. I tried to explain "INFI" and only thing I can come out with is "Jerry invented this new steel". Exactly what is the heat treat of INFI? How strong and rust resistance of INFI? I never spend my time to actually read it cuz its too technical.

I just know "INFI" is the BEST. I think that is enough said :D

People always thought you can find anything in NYC but not so. NYC being one of the firearm/knife unfriendly city.

In the past, Paragon sports perhpas is the only place ppl can find knives. Usually they are too busy and often I ask sales to take out a blade out and take closer look and not buying, I get some sort of uncomfortable look, snobish attitude makes me uncomfortable or 2nd thoughts with my purchase decision. Not forget to meantion, most sales knows little about what they are selling or makers.

I found Bill at NYC custom blade show and went to his store after. He mainly sold custome blades and carry some lower end affortable blades. Unlike paragon sports, Bill has all his case open. He never trying to sell me knives, he explains it. Bill allow me to touch any blades in the store including those $1000.00 blades. We just talk, and he knows so much more. I sit comfortably in his store and ask questions. My first visit, he treat me with a nice coffee and talk about 3 hours and I did not buy anything. His friendly attitude made customer always buys. Just a comfortable experience.

His store due to rent is in basement. Nice guy like him I want keep this store survive in NYC or even grow bigger.

Few months ago I cause Jerry some trouble, he called me right the way. It was my first time talk with king HOG and what a nice guy he is. We talked and fully understand each other.

A dealer like us, making his passion into business. A maker provide quality knives with affortable prices who also care about his customers' opinon and response fast with his busy schedule. Both are being themselves and has their vision about how business should run.

Good work needs to be seen, good words needs to spread.

I'll say keep them going.

With that said.......hehehe......JERRY, WHERE IS MY FOLDER??! :D
(As much as I love your blade, I almost feel I don't need a folder. To bring the best performance of a knife, fixed IS the way to go! But I am afraid other Hogs will eat me alive with this comment...so I Shut shhh......by keeping those words in grey.) :p

Wu, I'm not really sure on the hardness...I would think around 57or 58, maybe someone will chime in on that.

It is not a stainless but I would think it's rust resistance would be about the same as ATS34.

If I'm wrong about these maybe someone else will know more.

Thank you, wuyeah. I just went through every pic on his web-page.

Next time I drop by, I'll definitely drop in. Fascinating store.

You made my day!

Bill is a really good guy. Has a fine shop on Sutton Place or millionaires row as some call it. He knows his stuff and like most knife folks is happy to share. I am glad you brought your collection to Bill. I had promised to bring him my few Busses but have not yet got around to it. That would be great if he started carrying Busses. Bill does a great service for NYC and has great time doing so. He gets to open knife packages everyday of the week and he loves it. He also has a cool website Beautifulblades.com
If one gets to NYC check out his shop Mastersmiths. Great collection and great knife fellow
He has also designed a few blades. He likes those long wharncliffe like wickedly thin tips.

Greg,

I was merely clarifying for anyone who might have heard a different RC range. Besides, I could be completely mistaken.

Rick

Just curious Wu, which blades did he inspect?
