Ever had a Spyderco that you sold/traded/lost and later just kicked yourself for getting rid of it?

I had purchased one of the first Big Persians back when they were first available at the SFO.

Lost my job and was forced to sell off most of my collection about five years ago. Including the Persian.

My money situation has greatly improved since then and I have rebuilt quite a bit of my collection. But today I really missed that Big Persian.

Which ones do you Guys regret losing?

And throw me a bone here any more rumors on a Persian Sprint run?

I don't buy knives unless I really, really like them. I really like all my Spydercos and wouldn't sell or trade them unless I was forced to so no regrets here.

Fortunately, I haven't lost any either.

I've misplaced,or lost my mini manix in a Gary Graley horizontal sheath.I was wearing it when .I got sick the first of May last year I was in and out of the hospital three different times I was sick off,and on until late December.I remember taking the knife off my belt, but I can't find it any where.

My only hope is that my wife put it up somewhere, and forgot about it.

I miss my Delica3 serrated edge. I dropped it while on the riding mower and ran over it before I could stop. ATS-55 lost the battle with the mower blade. I've since moved on to other Spyderco knives that I like better but would probably still have it otherwise. It was my first "good" knife and the only one I owned for years.

No question, a Ti ATR PE. Money troubles forced me to sell it, and a bunch of nice other knives. This is the one I really miss.

Traded my D2 Para for a Bravo 1...and really missed it.

So...I recently picked up a sweet digicam Para that will never leave the rotation.

I feel for ya buddy. Got a Mini Manix and I really like that knife. Hopefully yours will show up in some unexpected place sometime.

I don't sell any knives now (though I came close a few times). I learned my lesson on that with firearms that I sold and later regretted doing so.

There have been knives that I was lukewarm on and didn't use a lot, but later pulled them out of storage and came to like & use them everyday. - - Some of the lukewarm knives became collector items after they went out of production. I'm not really a collector, more of a user, - - but its fun to look back over the old sales receipts and compare them to the prices they want today.

I had an original green Lum Chinese Folder. It went up in value so fast and so many people at the time really wanted one, that I had a hard time keeping it as a user and hated to see it as a safe queen. So I sold it for a lot more than I paid for it, but somehow was not satisfied with the profit. I've had a lot of Spydercos come and go, but that seems to be the one I miss the most. I kinda miss a Grey Calypso I had once too. Oh well, I have some nice ones in my collection now and some more nice ones on the horizon so all is good.

I miss all that I've owned, wouldn't have got them if I didn't like them but
for one reason or another, I always seem to need a change, one that I do
miss a lot, silly for getting rid of it, was the C27 Jess Horn, plain edge, jigged bone.
SWEET knife :(

Only one, I sold it to a mate of mine, Stretch FRN with VG-10 blade.

I missed it so I replaced it with a Stretch FRN ZDP-189:D.

Endura with G10. Girlfriend got me one for Xmas the year they came out. I lost it at work I think. It was a great knife.

Carbon Fiber BG-42 Millie comes to mind. It was the first high end folder I ever owned, and what got my Spyderco obsession started. Money issues forced me to sell it. I really loved that knife.:(

I just bought another one though, so I'm not as upset about my stupid decision to sell it, but I'd definitely trade the NIB one I have coming in the mail for my old user.

I passed my CF S90V Manix on in a trade not so long ago. While I don't really miss the Manix all that much, I do really miss having no S90V anymore.

My first Spydie (a Delica combo blade w/SS handle) was stolen out of my car about five or six years ago along with a few other knives. There have been other Spyderco knives since then, but I really miss that particular knife because it was my first...
