I miss Nasty

Mods, please feel free to delete if this is not cool, but since Nasty is no longer modding here I haven't seen him post any.

I just wanted to post and say I miss him being around.
 
The place just *isn't* the same... :(

I've emailed him and haven't heard. Hope he's OK.

I just want to go on the record that, for all I know, there was no bad blood in the mod change up. I respect Nasty for doing a thankless and thank him for his service to HI. His mod style is a little different to my own. However, I think that every mod that we have had since the passing of Uncle Bill and Rusty has had their own mod flavor. That's just part of the human condition/experiment. :thumbup:

I'm very glad to see our previous mods and old hands still sticking around, and wish that Nasty would come back as well. I wish a lot of folks that have moved on would come back:(
 
I noticed that he's been gone since the mod change. Maybe he's got some things to sort out at home. Hope he starts posting again.

Hi Nasty .. we miss you!

It's good for you because there are peoples do miss you when you disappeared! Remember that there might be peoples who are just transparents even though they are here among us!
 
DIJ- does the PSF cause Zombieism? or are there any reports of Peruvian Zombies, Zombie Llamas etc. in the wake of that crash- I mean, "meteor" impact.

We need to know. Nasty won't mind the thread veer, and in fect he'd be one of the first to volunteer to combat these PSF-breathing agents of the undead.

Tough job and he did it well. Slightly different flavor to the forums, but the spirit and community were held together and enriched.

Hopefully he's taking a breather and will be back after some much deserved R&R.
 
Who am I to second guess Nastys inner feelings? I cant do that, many of you know him well I should imagine? Ive only known him over the net. Many of you have been to his house, shared his food etc.....

But bieng sacked as mod by a public Forum post rather rather than private message or email could feel a bit rough I guess?

As I said before, his last post said it all.

Id guess he has to play by the given rules in any situation, without that line he might not have many. Thats how life is for me.

as his tag sometime said.

He is still a mod on the net elswere & still recomends Hi kukri as good.

Spiral, nothing is getting censored here. If it's not ethnic or racial or plain inappropriate, it stays. You can't un-say what you've said. You can "take it back" and admit ill-spake words in the heated moment. Who hasn't had one of those:o However, what's said is said.

That said, I appreciate you candid manner of post:thumbup: Being a mod is tricky business. You deal with objective things, subjective things, what your "employer" (Yangdu) expects from you, and the rules of the "house" (set by Spark). As I have spoken to some of your privately about, feel free to PM or e-mail me with any problems or concerns. Feel free to tell me to get up off my @$$ if you think that something needs to be taken care of. Feel free to shoot your ideas of how to make this place better to Ted, and Yangdu, and myself. This is your forum.
 
I think your doing well Steely & your post shows that...

Its not my forum I am just but another wheel on the cog.;) to turn or break as the wheel turns.Ive watched & participated in them for many years.

Ditto what he said. I'm the quiet one, Jake is much more eloquent than I.:)
 
Anyway, I hope he comes back eventually as one of the gang. He's a really good natured and generous person in my personal experience and I miss him.

Everyone here who doesn't post in a while is missed.

And Nasty was posting a lot. I don't miss him as a mod, but as a fellow forumite.

Others are missed too, but there are too many to name them all.
