Those Hossom Spydercos are really beautiful fixed blades. I couldn't believe it when I got my Forester for $125US brand new in box. I plan to keep it that way since I've got several other fixed blades that I can use.

The Forester is mine, a gift from my brother. The others belong to him.

I got one for my wife at the same price. She keeps it under the bed as a home defense weapon.

Hey Charlie Mike, I've seen that pic before in another thread! I've got my Cold Steel $20 Kukri, Brooklyn Crusher baseball bat, African Walking Stick, Escrima sticks and ESEE Lite Machete for home defense (the blades as last resort options only). That Forester's too nice for me to use for that, especially if I had to use it and the cops took it away as evidence!! I really think it'd be very difficult for me to use a knife of any type on another person though so I'm inclined to believe I'd use one of the sticks to knock some sense into a home intruder. Unless of course they're packing heat, then all bets are off.
