She was my favorite eagle. I have photos of her going back a decade. She went thru 3 mates and fledged 20 eagles (2 a year like clockwork). It has been 2 years since I last saw her last and I assume she passed on. She was a huge eagle and dwarfed her male mates. Very strong DNA. Great hunter, provider. I have seen her bring back a fish in each talon on several occasions (her talons were as large as a man's fist). A savage protector of her young. She is on the left in this photo. I miss you big gal

Very nice! I am very blessed to live in an area with many of these majestic raptors. Always love good pics of them. Thanks!

Awesome pics! My grandmother has 700 acres and the South Canadian River runs right through the middle of it. Every year several Bald Eagles nest in the Big Cottonwood and Pecan trees along the banks of the river. I have spent hours at a time watching them fish the river and taking fish back to the nest. A very relaxing time watching those beautiful birds.

awesome I have a new desktop background.
I love those pics.

Nice pics! I finally saw my first Bald Eagle last summer while on a bike ride and it was huge! Pictures don't do these birds justice!.

She's a beauty. Makes me miss Alaska where at one of the VFW's, a woman would throw out meat for the eagles in winter time. Nothing like seeing (not kidding) 30+ bald eagles flying and landing to get fed. Probably not the best for them, but was awesome to see regardless :)
