The best reason I could think of for missing the Fiddleback Friday thread is being Fiddleback HQ when the thread is posted.
I used my only day off in the US this trip to make the pilgrimage to Cumming from Tennessee.
It was great to meet everyone and a joy to be around people who have such enthusiasm for what they do. Witnessing the work and love that goes in to making all the knives that come out of those premises makes you appreciate them more, if that's possible.
Many thanks to Andy, Ken, Allen and everyone else for the warm welcome and allowing me to take some of your time.
I may have missed the Friday thread but I didn't come away empty handed......

Cheers Phillip I was able to drop a few knives for touch-up, including a certain Bushcrafter.
 
Congrats Jules! Both on being there at show time and for snagging one of the S35VN Bushfingers! Both are a sight to behold :)
 
I have to say I'm mightily impressed by the prod-mod bushfinger. Fit and feel is phenomenal (there's a tongue twister). It was jaw dropping to see them all stacked up.
 
That's really cool, congrats! Got any pictures of the knife?
 
You didn't miss it. You just weren't online with the rest of us.
It gives you a different perspective on what Fiddleback Friday's are all about.
Unlike Oz, behind this curtain the other world that is pretty cool, especially if you like Fiddlebacks.
Congrats on the Bushfinger in S35VN.

Hi Will,

Good to be back in touch with everyone again. I believe there is a good photo of the Bushfinger package on Instagram but here is a bad one of mine - I selected the black handle scales. I saw the Nat Canvas yesterday, equally as classy as the black, the texturing on the scales gives it a different appearance to the smooth on most fiddleback. There is an image on the Fiddleback Instagram account from a couple of weeks ago.
