I've been having a little trouble blindly opening my Broken Skull, it's something I can do with my Recon 1's with ease. You know, reach into your pocket while your holding something that needs cut and you somehow just pull your folder and open it. It's almost pure muscle memory. I also found that it was sometimes awkward to get the correct leverage because the angle and location of the stud is a little too close to the scales.
I had noticed that my Recon 1's had a slightly longer stud, so I swapped them. I figured it couldn't hurt to try? It's only one thread longer but man it made a huge difference. It feels "right" now. No wrist flick or trying to find just the right hold anymore. The best part is that the shorter studs work just fine my Recon 1. It does stick up above the scale by the slightest amount on the BS but hasn't been a hindrance to removing it from my pocket. It's only been a couple of days but I haven't found any reason to switch them back, it's just worked out far too well
