I must be crazy because I just ordered four more Al-Mar knives from A.G. Russell like ten minutes ago. I already have an SERE 2000 that I carry daily and love. So the knives I ordered are a Nomad, a Shrike, a SERE Operator, and a Al-Mar 6" Chefs Utility knife with wood handle. Plus I ordered the three 6" DMT Diamond Stones in a Cherry Wood Box. I must be crazy to spend this kind of money. My only defense is that the Chefs Knife and the SERE Operator are going to be gifts for my dad.
 
Ha,ha,ha,hahaha,ha.....(that was supposed to be an evil laugh). You're hooked now. You will need to find some sort of knife fetish rehab site now. Just kiddin'. Once you get the bug, it's hard to stop. At some point you will have to back up and regroup, I did. Welcome to knife hoarding, er, I mean collecting.

There is a leveling off point. Mine was around 150, now I only buy the gota have's, maybe a trapper now and then or a sweet swing guard or there is this red bone Case on my watch list and I hear Buck has the 110 in 154 steel :confused: So you see it does get better.
 
Thanks for the support, but would any of you guys know who is producing the SERE Operator for Al-Mar because when I was ordering it I noticed it said made in the USA, but all the other Al-Mar knives say Moki/Japan. So just curious who made The Operator for them.
