I have been MIA from SR for a while (might be subconciously afraid of buying more SR, or even INFI :D ), but, I have four Rats. Three are being prepared to be sent for modification (removing the coating on all three, maybe new handles on one). I seriously thought I was done.

Then last night I had a dream about my Battle Rat:confused: :confused: :confused: . I have no idea why this was, but I dreamt that I broke the blade in half on my BR:eek: ! After popping out of bed at 3am in a panic, I got my Battle Rat, in the dark, and made sure it wasn't broken. Thinking back on this, I could have seriously hurt myself. Luckily, the BR was fine.

I am getting rid of that coating though, the hallucinations/dreams are getting to be a real pain in the ass.
 
beadblast will make it more prone to rusting. I like INFI naked, but I like coating on rust-prone blades. You could get it satin or mirror finished to decrease the rust.
 
strip and beadblast the BR, and lay off the late night bowls of ice cream,:eek: it will stop you dreaming!:D

Although dreaming of knives is a good thing:thumbup: ...maybe I should have some ice cream!:D

I used it yesterday to take down a tree that came down from a small tornado, in the driving rain, so I could get my truck past, and the grip was great. The knife felt great, and I had a good time. Thank you everyone at Swamp Rat for making a kickass knife!
