I'm sitting here listening to music I haven't heard, or even remember hearing for 25 years or more. Not only that, but obscure, live versions of said music. I must say, I've never been more pleased with a subscription service than I have with satellite radio. It is waaaaaay worth it!

XM is on the list. All I gotta do is pay off a few things first....... :grumpy:

How does this work? Is it something you have to pay to subscribe to and decode? Is it available up here in Canada?
Eh?

I still can't get over paying $120 per year for radio. I can buy a dozen CD's and hear just as much music that I enjoy. Of couse, I don't have cable TV either ($480 per year for TV?!), so this will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me.

I'm not sure if XM or Sirius is available in Canada yet. I do know that around the borders of the US, the reception does tend to get spottier.

I explained my rationale for subscribing to radio above. It is a seriously good way to rock out, and in my opinion is a great value. Also, you're not directly supporting the soul-less music distribution industry.

When Howard Stern goes over at the end of the year I'll be there.

Only thing that really sucks is that I'll need 2 subscriptions.
