Im not sure, how I got here ? I used to have Bladeforums.uk, and suddenly I couldn't get in !
So., I assumed, that, since microsoft, had taken over skype, and made a right mess of it, not accepting my previous password etc.
It wasn`t broke... but Microsoft had to go in and fek it up !

So I had to register again, but no..... even tho this is ..Blade Forum.com, it tells me that my email adress, belongs to someone else, and my username is in use.
?????
So, I had to go through the whole rigmarole, of registering, with a new name and made up email.......
However, it seems to be a completely different forum, and jeez those stupid captcha things with wierd drawings, and you have to try & make letters and numbers out of that blurry rubbish ???
I must have gone through about 20 different street signs and captcha images
Jeez
 
internet keeps changing even though you don't.

Devices that were good are no longer any good or don't work. Gets more and more complicated. Personally I feel like giving up myself.
 
Are you sure it wasn't the Thought Police instead of Microsoft?

Anyway, welcome, lost of great information and even some better people.

Welcome ! Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise . In the UK ,(I guess) you can only play with kitchen knives while in the kitchen ? At least in some parts of the USA we can still have all kinds of interesting blades , and play with them outside the kitchen . Strange and exotic things like Bowies . ;)

.... you would be wrong on most all of those points... ;) Like here, our friends in the UK are free to take their knives into the bush with them, be all outdoorsy, hunting, fishing, camping etc. Certainly the laws about carrying a knife in other settings are quite different to the US but broad uneducated statements are not good for any of us.

And to the OP...welcome aboard :D

My bad ! I just read some article about most of the murders and serious assaults in the UK being done with kitchen knives , so I jumped to erroneous conclusions .:oops:

Don't know about a BladeForums.uk (or .co.uk) but there's a kind of similar named site if you google "bladeforums uk". Maybe you're thinking of it?

Anyway, if your email is in use, then you must've created an account at some point. Is there an option to have your password sent to your email on the login page?

As for looks, the site changed software last year and that changed quite a few things.

Moved over to Tech Support where you might get some help getting your account issues figured out.
