I Nailed the 111

There was a 111 I'd been watching on the bay for a while. NIB with an Idaho cutout. It really looks nice. For less than $50.00, I thought it was a bargain. Did I miss something or did everyone else? I've seen new 110s that you can buy at Wally's go for more.
 
If you're happy, and it sounds as though you are, then yep, you nailed it at a fair price!!

The Collectors must have missed it...I think the Users have decided that the cutouts make the blade too fragile for a work knife... :rolleyes:

I've wondered about that myself, but it seems to me it shouldn't be a problem unless you are PRYING with one.

Who was it that mentioned breaking a buck blade while trying to cut/saw a brisket bone in a deer??? :confused:

I would think that while sawing/cutting, some twisting would be unavoidable...Never got that far, myself... :D
