I'm wanting a BOB bag and don't know any brands or where to start. I want something made in Europe or North America, preferably military, holds lots of weight(just in case), and something that lasts decades. Also a price under $300 USD.

Noting comes close to the Maxpediton Saber Cat.
 
I have had a Maxpedition Sitka for about a year and I love it. Fits tons of gear and wears like a backpack (the gearslinger line is made to sling around in front.) With most Maxpedition products you can't go wrong, they have a ton of awesome bags.

I carry my sitka with me to work or have it in my car, but if you are going to build a B.O.B. that you are just going to leave in one place for a while maybe you would prefer a duffle type over a backpack?

I also have a duffle type I got from LA Police Gear. They have their own brand and offer some pretty good, well made bags for cheap. I keep one of these in my car trunk with some non-perishables/first aid and it is great.

If made in "a country outside of Asia" is a requirement, then I'd suggest Kifaru, you can get some of their bigger packs at $300, and there's a few smaller packs going for around $200.
