I need a blade.

I just bought on of those $180.00 Harbor Freight metal cutting bandsaws (I was tired of seeing good steel end up as dust on my workshop floor) and have found it to be a pretty good machine so far, execpt for the blade. I remember hearing befor that the blades were lousy and they are. Anybody have a source for good quality bandsaw blades (1/2"x.025"x64 1/2") that won't break the budget.

K & G sells bi-metal blades for a resonable price. I have found it to be a very grood blade.

I stated this before on this forum...
I bought a blade from Texas Knifemaker's Supply a while back, and it has lasted a very long time. It had been cryo'ed. They are pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Any supply house has them. Buy Bi Metal.

Try this site. Uncle Al (Riverside Machine) in DeQueen, Arkansas has a good bi-metal blade that will take the punishment. Good price too.
