I am starting to wear cowboy boots more.

Any creative sheath makers out there with a simple solution
on how to adapt my boots for boot carry or how to easily get a
sheath to work in there?

I have very nice custom made boots and do not really want to mess
them up with cheap stitching through there... Perhaps something
that integrates with the pull on straps?

While I have always loved the Gerber Guardian
I will be getting a nice solid full blown custom for this.

Only ones I've done have a metal spring clip attached. They work very well but may ding up your boots a little if that's a concern.
I've also seen leather covered clips used for them, but I don't do them.

A 3 point snap system would work. You build the sheath with 2 snaps that extend out at either end of the opening of the sheath and another snap at the very end point. then you just install the other portion of the snaps on your boots. depending on how you want to carry it on your boot determines how you install the snaps (inside carry or outside carry).

I have some Kydex QD clips listed in the Gadgets & Gear section of the maker's for sale area. They will work for boot carry but may ride a little high, depending on how they are mounted to the sheath.

I built a holster that attached to the loop on the boot. It was a flat piece that slipped through the loop and I used a chicago screw to hold the flap on the main part of the holster.
