This is not a WTB ad. Just thought I'd share a few pics of a recent fishing trip... I had a buddy come down from Kansas -- he takes me pheasant hunting, I take hime hog hunting / fishing.

The catfish are up shallow and ready for the fryer  We were just shy of 50 fish, but quit when we ran out of room in the cooler (literally had to tie down the lid to keep it closed.) I think my friend had a good time -- sent him home w/almost 50 catfish and one and a half hogs -- 2 coolers full of meat, and a little sunburn ;)

Nice catch!!!

I've got some pics too. :D :D :D

considering how flexible infi is (vise tests), a fillet knife sounds logical. I could use one :D

Man I need to take my Busse filet knife fishing, now if I could just procure the 6" one I'd be set. :D

Oh man, that is one sweet set-up Guyon!!! I'd sure like to give one a try ;) Send it on down and let's break her in a little better

The filet knives are some of the old stuff. Not Infi - D2. Still makes a great knife, and hand ground by the big guy himself, I believe.

Yeah, like you would use it! It would end up watching you fillet with a Normark.

I'll have you know I have used my 5" ones in the kitchen already. You trying to insinuate I am some sort a safe queen poser Mike? :D

Great pics, nice catch and I'm sure you had a great time:thumbup:

What's the bait in the jars? Home-made recipe?

Danny King's "punch bait" http://www.dannykings.com/

It's really good stuff, but very stinky and messy. When the shad start moving shallow we'll catch them in cast nets --- and that's WAY cleaner to fish with. But for right now, stink bait is the ticket.
