Hello all I don't know if this is the right place for this, if not I apologize. Okay here we go this is what I'm looking for, I need a fighter not a show peace but a user. I would also like to have a kerambit made...the only problem is that a lot of the maker's I have contacted will only make their designs, witch I understand but I need them made to my specs to comply with local laws and for concealment reasons.

So this is what I need for the fighter. Blade length-8 inches handle- 4 inches with a pinky hook,so 4 inches inbetween the pinky hook and the gourd. I would like there to be a blade catch and thumb ramp, and would like the blade to fairly thin for good penetration.

For the kerambit I need it to stay at six inches,so I need the blade to be 2 3/4 the handle 2 2/8 and a one inch ring. Also the blade can't be double edged. I know the measurements sound off but I have small hand's. I know this got long and I appreciate everyone taking time to read this. So if you would be interested or know of a maker that would be my email address is. Kriket1911@Gmail.com again thank you very much for taking the time to read this.

Try David Wesner at Kelsey Creek Knife Works. He made a Kephart to my specs and was a pleasure to work with.

About the fighter - a bit more info might yield more meaningful recommendations:

1) A "fighter" can have many different designs and blade shapes - do you have a pic of something that comes close to what you have in mind?

2) Do you have a preference for stainless versus carbon steel, stock removal verses forged, hollow ground versus flat ground?

3) What is your budget? If your budget is $300, there's no point recommending a $3,000 knife - and vice versa.

4) How soon do you need it.

I don't know squat about Kerambits so I can't help you there.

Try Richard Derespina, he specialises in karambits......

You'll find him over at jerzee devil. ;)

try Lon Humphrey, he made a knife for me where I sent him a picture of what I wanted and he took it from there. Great guy, great to deal with and makes amazing blades.

two "fighters" Lon made, the bottom one I designed.
