I need a custom sheath

Hello,

I just purchased a well made-hand made drop point knife that I have really grown to like and use (and I am a knife guy). I picked this knife up at a garage sale in Ohio frm an older gentlemen who said he was a Case knife dealer back in the day. He said this knife was from his collection and it had good steel (he was not lying). Unfortunally the 1950's sheath it came with is on it's last leg even though I have oiled and re-sewed it.

I am looking for someone to make me a custom sheath maybe with earth magnets and a horizontal draw (I am open to suggestions though, but I liked this design- Thank you Rich.) I want it in Walnut with dark stiching. I can send you an outline of the knife (blade is 4 1/4" x 1 7/32", 8 3/4" overall, oak handles, full tang. High Carbon blade with I believe chrome finish? -magnet sticks (sharp as a razor even after use, holds and edge and is easy to sharpen with steel), no markings. Nickel quillon, brass pins, no grind marks, etc. I wish whom ever made this knife put a mark on it so I could find him and buy more. The feel and quality of this knife is comparable to a Randall! I am looking for someone to make me a custom sheath with the quality equal to this knife.

Lot of good makers on here but to really get a good fitting sheathe for your knife you will probably have to send it to the maker. I use Jeff Law at Rainwalker for most of my work(see recent Post) but he does have a backlog.Chuddy Bear makes a sturdy sheath but concentrates mostly on basic undecorated sheathes not sure what his backlog is.Leatherman also makes some great designs but again you have a backlog issue.
