I know many people carry more than one blade, but I find it unnecessary for my needs. Anyways, I'd like a knife that would function as an excellent every day carry blade, as well as a tactical/defensive blade. I'd like the blade length to be exactly 3", because that is the legal limit in my area. Price can be right around $100, preferably a little less. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!!!!!

BM Nitrous Stryker!

awesome reccomendation! I don't know if I assisted opening is allowed in Wisconsin though :/ any other options?

We have a knife laws section on this forum I would suggest asking around there about wisconsin law, OR googling it and reading it throughly. But I've owned a Nitrous stryker full size being in TN, and I've carried it for 2 and a half years. It would GREATLY suit you. Hell of a knife for the price and a hell of a steel, backed by the best warranty out there in the $50-$250 price range.

There're many, but the ones that come to mind:

BM mini Grip
HK/BM 14210: http://www.benchmade.com/products/14210
Spyderco Delica (Waved or ZDP-189 model)
Kershaw Leek if you want an affordable A/O (S30V or combos with D2 edge).
Emerson mini-CQC7 if you can find one for under $100

There're many more, but those are all good, solid knives, as are the other considerations.

Yeah the 5.11 masters karambit, though you'd have to find one. You can easily wave knives with a belt sander. That's the one charlie mike recommended me, still trying to get my hands on one.

Edit I don't see anything "tactical" about any spyderco's but that's just me.

I'm new to the site so can't post a picture but my EDC is a Benchmade Snody 14205. It's a great little all around folder but you may have to spend a little more for it.
