I need a good sharpning system

I am on the hunt for a quality knife sharpening system. I have used the Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker kit a lot in the past and have gotten good results, as long as the knife being sharpened is not too dull. I am getting a few nice knives in my collection (Chris Reeve, Dan Koster, Swamp Rat, Busse Combat etc.) and I need a quality sharpening kit or system to maintain them properly.

I am thinking about the Wickrd Edge "Precision" https://www.wickededgeusa.com/product/wicked-edge-precision-sharpener/ and am wondering if anyone has used any of the Wicked Edge kits and how well they work. I will be sharpening mainly 3V, SR-101(aka 52100), A2, CPM V30 and CPM S35V and INFI steels.

Any thoughts on the Wicked Edge sharpeners or another high quality sharpener will be greatly appreciated.

The Wicked Edge and the Edge Pro Apex (with the small knife adapter) are the two frontrunners. I have both and they are good. The Edge Pro comes in at a lower price, but does have a bit of a learning curve. They have excellent customer service, which can help with difficulties. Members here say the KME is also excellent.

I use the KME and am very happy with the results. But if you do a search on any sharpening system here you will find all the info you would need to make the right choice for your sharpening needs.

The wicked edge will handle those steels no problem, I love mine.

I've come to appreciate the clamped systems for any edge that needs more than a simple micro bevel or edge roll fix. So for me I'd say the Wicked Edge or KME. The Edge Pro still has its place in my arsenal, but I can get a much finer edge with less effort when the blade is clamped (with easy access to both sides without reclamping. The KME is the biggest bang for the buck.
