In less than two weeks I should be reunited with my stuff, which has been in storage since I moved out of the WA house.
When I disassembled my 2 x 72 GIB grinder I made a promise to myself that before I reassembled it I would have the base plate properly welded to the riser in order to insure it was perfectly perpendicular.
Previously, using screws to mount it, the riser was off by a degree or two which made it all but impossible to get perfect tracking on the belts. I managed to find ways to cope, but I'd prefer to have a grinder that works properly.
Can anyone recommend a welder, preferably in the NW Houston or Tomball area?
Thanks,
- Greg
