I'm looking for a quality holster, probably a SOB type, with a covered trigger area for a Glock 27. I've had only one other Glock and I know that the trigger area must be protected.

I'd like the most 'pancake' style pancake design I can get. Not all of us are as slim as we used to be!:D

The holster I use most of the time is a Blade-Tech model. The other one I really like was made by Fist. Both companies make outstanding holsters.

Thanks, guys, I'm going to check out both of these cites very thoroughly. It is odd that the samples photos at FIST show the Glock 27 (or 26 or 33, it's hard to tell) which is the exact pistol that needs a holster.

And I'm a traditionalist. I know all about Kydex. I'm still a Biachi kind of guy that likes that Oxblood color and the bold white colored stitching. Over 2/3's of the holsters in my gun room look this way.

BTW, the prices were very good at these cites. Nice to know.

Send me some info, I have a drawer full of 22/23/27 holsters that you can try out, if you like one we can work sometimg out. I have blade-tec, sidearmor, galco, etc.... I would love to help someone not make the same mistakes I did. BTW the only holster I won't give up and the one I wear every day is a FIST K1.

Also you may want to look into your choice of a SOB holster a little deeper, almost every class I have taken the instructors have made very good arguements against SOB holsters.

Sounds familiar....Although I have managed to unload most of my unwanted/unused holsters.

SOB holsters do have a couple useful applications, I know a those who work behind a counter standing up like them and it makes sense in that application. Personally, I get uncomfortable with my belt holding up anything other than my pants.

In addition to those holsters listed, I think DeSantis offers pretty good leather for the dollar.

Sorry no ankle holsters in the drawer, I have a galco ankle glove that I wear almost every day. It was the first one I bought and I havn't had to look for another.
