Bought an after-market Miguron Dromos. Loved it, but the detent ball immediately fell out and I couldn't find it.
I took it apart slowly to see what was up, and it just kind of fell apart. I have no idea how to put it back together. There's this one little piece that doesn't make sense to me.
Miguron is sending me the appropriate ball.

What I need is someone who can put this guy back together. Anybody do stuff like that? I've changed many a scale but never just built a knife...
Thanks for advice.

It's a standard titanium framelock from what I can tell looking at pics online, and I'm assuming that it's running on bearings with being a flipper..

So reassembly would go something like...

+Put the pivot through the hole in the scale

+Lay down the scale with the pivot sticking up.

+Put down one of the bearings around the pivot.

+Place the blade down around the pivot with the blade in the open position.

+Put the other bearing around the pivot.

+Place any other bits like barrel spacers.

+Lay down the other scale (the pivot should pass up into the hole on the scale) keep downward pressure applied because of the lockbar pushing back against you.

+Put in pivot screw and any other screws.

Link to a video that should help. It's not your exact knife but the exact same "type" of knife, just skip the the reassembly part..

I did this once: disassemble, put ball in place then tape it there (tape back of scale too to protect it) then use C clamp to squeeze into place - stop shortly after meeting resistance, check to see if it's 50% seated, if not repeat / if so reassemble and check function

Why bother? The knife literally fell apart.

Time for a new (different) knife
