We're getting ready to send out our invitations for our wedding.
I can't figure out the simplest way to put addresses on the envelopes, and which program to use.
(Word/Excell/Access). All of us have the office suite
We don't need fancy options, just a simple way to do it, and one that my almost PC illiterate in-laws can fill out and email to us. Thanks.
All help is greatly appreciated.

Most printers, despite the manufacturer's claims, don't feed envelopes very well.

Fortunately, Avery makes clear labels that are both laser- and ink-jet-printable. They come on 8 1/2 x 11" sheets that feed perfectly in most printners and they come with instructions on how to set up all popular software, Word, WordPerfect, etc. Since they're clear, the color and texture of your envelope's paper will show through.

Hint: Wash your hands before sticking the labels to the envelopes so that you don't leave fingerprints under the labels. And, if you're using an ink-jet printer, don't touch the finished labels for several minutes to allow them to throughly dry.

You can do it easily in Word.

Open Word.

Go to Tools> Letters & Mailings> Envelopes and Labels

A new windows opens.

Go to Options> Pick envelope size> Hit Printing Options Tab> Choose which way you want the envelope to face when you print. I recommend testing it out on a few envelopes first to make sure you have them fed in properly.
When done hit OK.

Type in your delivery address and return address, hit print, and you're done.

***Note: This will only work if you are using envelopes in the standard sizes in the list.
