I need a memorial knife made, who would be a good custom maker?

I want to have a memorial knife made in honor of my grandfather by using his ashes in the making of the knife (mix in his ashes with the micarta or something along those lines so the maker must make his own handle material) and have his name engraved on the blade. Looking for a Bowie style blade with a high polish finish. The knife is going to be displayed on a mantle. Who would you guys recommend I contact? Thank you in advance for the replies

Hey friend, I would browse the two below forums and window shop the pictures. Once you find a style you like, contact the maker and see if they can accommodate.



You can also make a post in the custom section to see if any maker is willing to take the job.

There are several spectacular makers, but based on the high polish you mentioned, I might start with Aldrich and Del Raso.
